Monitoring the Sustainability of Wild Species
IN-WILD is a GEF-funded project intended to revolutionise how wildlife use and trade are monitored and develop new indicators to support Targets 5 and 9 of the Global Biodiversity Framework(GBF) – both of which focus on the sustainable use of wild species.
This biefing paper iscontribution to the project, and inspired by the review of progress of implementation of the GBF. It explores which indicators CBD Parties have chosen to monitor their progress against Targets 5 and 9, and which ones they have reported against.
